Title: Splash of light
Location: South Ramshead, Kosciuszko National Park, New South Wales, Australia
Code: SN105P3L
Portfolio Type: Limited Edition Fine Art Portfolio
This was taken just near the tree line at South Ramshead, it was a very rare time, that what I envisaged in my head before coming back country, turned into a reality. I envisioned a shot like this before coming out and I got it, in fact it was better then I imagined. Thanks mainly to high winds throwing up the snow and enabling me to create those rays of morning light coming through the snowgums. It was very challenging keeping the camera still even though it was on a tripod, but using my body as a shield and timing the gusts right, I was able to capture this magic shot.
