I always find it fun, but tricky, when you get to a location that is so iconic and photographed so much, that it’s really hard to come up with something different. I rely on just the simple fact that I have my own style and that the weather and thus light is always going to be different anyway. So I photograph the way that I see it, then I start exploring the area a lot more, I look for other factors that can add to the story of my main object. Its not easy, it takes time to explore, but that time is valuable as it gives you a better feel for what your photographing. I loved photographing the Golden Gate Bridge, I find the structure exciting visually and there are so many angles and moods to this iconic bridge.
