Amboseli National Park is a contrast of landscapes you have the open dry plains, acacia woodland, rocky thorn bush country, swamps and marshland. This image was taken early one morning in a slightly marshy open plain area, as a photographer you need to know where the sun is going to rise and plan your shots to accordingly. So I new that the sun was going to rise somewhere behind the elephant herd, I just had to look for something thing special in the elephants. Luckily I found it, a baby elephant surrounded by the herd, sometimes you just get lucky, but I always say you increase you’re luck by being there.
